Welcome to the AngryFred Blog, an independent blog publication launched in June 2023 by me....Fred Oldenburg....I thank you for stopping by!

Here you will find the random musings of a US Navy submarine veteran, aviation aficionado, gear head, amateur photographer, cooking enthusiast, travel junkie, and technologist living in North Carolina. I am a software engineer/architect by trade and a student of life by choice. I love travel and learning and experiencing new things the most. A Digital guy that grew up in an analog world; I am comfortable and fluent in both. I'm of German-English decent, so I Never saw a mechanical button, switch, or dial that I didn’t like.
